My areas of research include religion and spirituality, foodways, healthcare, culturally resonant care/DEI, clinical co-care models, ethnomedicine, and comparative learning models. ​ As an educator, I have worked in the disciplines of Religion and spirituality, ELL/ESL , Literature and Writing, STEAM, Academic and Testing Anxiety, Visual Arts, Culinary Arts, and Reading. ​.​ I am also the owner of Harvest Education, and Sheikas- a wellness consultancy and apothecary company.
