This is day 2 and installation 3 of our 12 Days to Sparkle asynchronous course. What can we learn from children when it comes to exercising the faith of a mustard seed?
In today’s lesson we discuss the importance of helping children build their personalized language in the context of prayers, and how this enhances their imaginations. Let’s groom our children to see beyond the physical and engage with the spiritual realm on their terms. Expectation is a muscle. Let’s work out. Here is one to begin with:
G-d beyond what we can see
G-d living inside of me
Guide me through my chores today
Walk beside me me in every way
Show me things that I should see
To help me be the best that I can be
In beauty big and challenges small
I trust you in my heart with it all.

Reflective note for day 1: Is my prayer life routine? Why or why not? Be honest.
Backpack Check - On a scale of 1-10, how creative did your special person get with their prayer? Why? Is creativity and expressiveness encouraged or frowned upon- think whether this is silent encouragement/discouragement also
