CHILDREN HAVE BEAUTIFUL DIVINE IMAGINATIONS. Respect it.
Really listen. Anthropomorphizing God is no different than most world religions. Exercising imagination is as well.
Today’s Lesson is sharing a book entitled, “If God Were a Great Big Bear.” Although it is written in elementary language, it is easy enough to help even adults tap into our ideas on relating to characterizing God, and consequently describing our relationship to ourselves. I have included a read version by video in case you cannot access it at your local library; however, it is a book that I strongly recommend grabbing on your next visit. Enjoy it!
